Foundations in Kingdom Ministry is our newest ministry effort - a more formal gathering of teaching and discussion for building/strengthening our foundation in God the Father.
And we've already begun.
Our second gathering was the topic of WHO IS JESUS? led by Pastoral Advocate Danielle Riley..

Gracie and Bob Ekblad and Andrew Lewis recently returned from a visit to Honduras, where the Ekblads lived from 1982-1988.
Thousands of men and women from our region have left their children with relatives so they can migrate in search of work. We heard many tragic stories of marriages falling apart, of people becoming addicted to drugs or alcohol or losing their lives en route to the USA or through accidents. We heard of others who ended up in immigration detention or in North American jails, finally to be deported back. Many children have grown up in Honduras without one or both of their parents, with huge impact…

We mailed off hard copies of 2019's newsletter to each of our donors--more than 1,500 envelopes sent all around the world.
We're excited to share some of what we’ve been blessed to encounter in our work, thanks to your equipping and partnership.

You'll read from our ministry sites at Sunday Worshipping Community, Family Support Center, daily Gospels & Psalms, Jail Chaplaincy, and The People's Seminary…

We received hundreds of families to the Family Support Center in the past few weeks as the weather shifts toward freezing.

Pastor Salvio and Julio are putting out the call to our community to help.
How can you help?

It's (almost) the most wonderful time of the year...

Our annual Christmas Gift Drive is coming up!
This is when you, Jesus' beloved church, provide presents for us to coordinate to local families with incarcerated parents/relatives. The families of those whom we've been ministering with all year at the Skagit County Community Justice Center will receive those gifts in the week leading up to Christmas Day.

I got in touch with one of the recipients from last year. We met the father of two young children at our men's jail ministry at the Skagit Jail, and contacted both the mother and aunt of his children as Christmas approached…
