Board of Directors

Sarah Shih has been a missionary, business-owner, and world-traveler. Having lived in 4 different countries doing ministry and raising a family, Sarah brings discernment and leadership from an inter-disciplinary and multi-cultural perspective. As a graduate of Regent College, with a Masters in Christianity and the Arts, Sarah has also worked at Regent in recruitment and administration for a total of 9 years. Her tri-fold love for academics, walking in the power of the Holy Spirit, and the marginalized in the world brings her to also love the mission at Tierra Nueva. She is the proud wife of Drew Shih, who would like to confess is the one writing this bio for her. Along with being a loving wife, Sarah is an amazing mother to 4 beautiful daughters: Jordan, Caitlin, Vivien, and Eden.

Andrea is the Board Chair and a leader in a local church and is passionate about helping people to grow and flourish in their relationship with Jesus. She previously worked as a missionary and attended seminary in France (L’institut Protestant de Théologie), where she had the privilege of being trained in prayer ministry and seeing many people receive God’s healing, moving forward unburdened by what was holding them captive. Andrea is a graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara and Princeton Theological Seminary. She is the proud wife of Jean Chaumont, whom she met in France, and a mother to a busy toddler, Audrey.
