You come face-to-face with your weakness, and with the possibility of your life failing, or ending. You feel the void, the emptiness and darkness and despair--and you don’t know where to turn. Your sadness increases, becoming a groan, a cry. You feel a need for change, for a breakthrough. Even if your cry is silent, it is surely a prayer.
