Amy and Alan Muia, Faith House Directors -------------- new earth bread New Earth Bread is one of Tierra Nueva's micro-enterpises, part of New Earth Works. New Earth Bread was started by Cherry Haas, a Faith House volunteer with a vision. She desired to see women in recovery grow in employment skills, build confidence, and move toward sustainable lives. She took her family's 90-year-old sourdough recipe, combined it with some business know-how, and New Earth Bread was born. New Earth Bread is supervised by Alan Muia, and staffed by the women of Faith House, who grow in employment skills by baking delicious bread in our Anacortes, WA bakery. In the summer months, our bread is also sold at the Anacortes Farmer's Market. Call 360-333-5658 for more information. Enjoy our bread. You're making a difference!
